My art:
Nearly all of my deviations are products of the GCSE in Art I did between 2004 - 2006. Most of which are pencil drawings or oil paintings. There are still more images from my course which I haven't uploaded yet. My 2nd year art book has mysteriously disappeared in the vacuum that is Mr Jepson's Art room.

Due to a combination of laziness, lack of motivation and being very busy with A-Levels, I never really got around to doing more artwork. (Hence the lack of submissions in the past 2 years). This summer I'm hoping to change that. :aww:

My life:

I've just left school :tears:, completing A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths. Results come out in one week exactly :faint:, if all goes to plan I should be going to study Natural Sciences (Biology) at Cambridge University.

This summer is the first proper break I've had in ages, three months of doing whatever I want (mainly watching TV in bed with Craig :P). Hopefully, in this time I'll be able to do some more painting. I've promised Craig I'd paint some butterflies for him, from pictures he'll be taking tomorrow (at a butterfly exhibition at the Natural History Museum). If you like insects I suggest you take a look at his photos

Well well well.

Here I am sat at the computer with my sister next to me. A sister who is very excited about her upcoming birthday and birthday present - a Canon EOS 350D. Consequently, she has become obsessed about all things photography and opened a new deviant art account. Being the good sister that I am I thought I would log on and show my support. Enough with the shameless plug, more about what's been going on in my life.

Its been 5 months since my last journal entry. In that time a lot have things have happened, unfortunately for those wanting to see more submissions this does not include any form of art, unless you include doodles for my Biology lessons with Miss Martin.

School is going well for me at the moment, I've been made a prefect but I now have the pressures of looming exams just around the corner and choosing University courses. To be honest it's tired me out so much I have no energy to do other things .. one of which is driving. I passed my theory test at the end of Jan and have booked the practical test for the begining of May. Quite scary, seen as though I am still "Looking Without Seeing".

Will think of more to add when my brain is functioning properly, off to make a new avatar - I'm very bored of my current one. Till next time, which will hopefully not be another few months,

~ Claire

Edit:
It's been over a year. Lots of things have happened, lots of things to talk about, but not for now. This is just a quick edit to say I'm still alive, in three weeks, when my A levels are over there will be new deviations, a new journal, filled with lots of details about the past year and plans for the future. Until then. Shameless plug, for my boyfriend. If you like insects go take a look at his photos, post processing by me because he's too lazy to install Photoshop and re-learn how to use it :aww:

Well well, where do I start? I've been a bit busy the past couple of weeks and I have absolutely no idea where the time has all gone! Picking up from my last journal .. my birthday was really great (Craig got me some roses while we were in London), and I start driving lessons on Tues!!!

Last week I was up at my Granparents for a couple of days.. thankfully they've got broadband other wise i think I would have gone crazy! (or gone bankrupt ... the only other thing to do there is shop :P)

As for school, I'm beginning to enjoy it more .. esp. Physics which was amazingly dull in the first week or so, 3 people have already dropped it. >_< Chemistry is so much fun, all we seem to do is experiments! w00t titrations! Lidia, bless her, has the worst luck when it comes to titrations, breaking the pipettes, putting the wrong solutions in the wrong beakers and running out of her standard sol. of acid. :P

Missing people loads; we went and sat in the English corridor, it was really sad because it was just me and Lana there .. looking at photos on my phone from when all of us were there :( So surreal ... *sigh*

Decided on possible careers! Those of us who had an intrest in medicine were advised to start thinking about the future now, so there is a medical course "medlink" coming up in December that me and a few people from my school are going on. (If you're going too please comment moi :P). I'm going to decide whether or not medicine is for me ... if it isn't I'll probs be going into Bio-Chemistry.

Anywho, I'll see most of you tomorrow ;) Bi x

P.S. My art books are currently back with Mr Jepson ... as soon as he's done with them I'll get them back and can finally add lotsa art :P

Edit
Well I had a really great day today. I went out for picnic in typical english weather with a few freinds. We saught refuge in the Tate Modern ... and as we decided to sit on the floor next to a bench to have our picnic we were recieving a number of funny looks. Well we have to be oddballs.

If anyone catches my 2k pageview please screenie it and send it to me :D Thanks :aww:

Spankingly New Start

Mood: :excited:
Listening to: Deja Vu - Beyonce ft. Jay-Z
Watching: Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman
Reading: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

First day of 6th Form today ... To most it seemed more of a fashion show - even though the majority of people looked identical. I am pleased to say I can recognise where most people shop :o And I also took great pleasure in laughing at two people wearing the exact same top from New Look. :giggle:

Well apart from being talked at for ages and having our bums go to sleep several times because of the hard chairs we were sitting on, the day was really good. It's great to be back with friends .. even though some aren't there :( Our form class is a good one .. sorta, full of both good ppl and bad :p Unfortunately for me we're in Electronics and not Science ... and I have to walk to the other side of the school for all my lessons ... which are in Science. I'm taking Biology, Chemisty, Physics and Maths for AS level.

Well it's my birthday tomorrow! I'm going to be the grand old age of 17. Almost all of my family are giving me money to pay for driving lessons ... and I still have to send off photos for my provisional license! Which I tried to take today but the machine screwed up and I got 16 mini photos instead of 4 passport sized ones :o Stupid thing not having a back button. Anywho ... completely forgot what I was about to say. *shrug*

Oh and I got my art books back .. will sumbit work in the near future

I got my results on Thursday, and thankfully it was very good news!!

8 A*s and 3 As :D I am so over the moon with that .. yipeee!

So next year I'm going to 6th form and taking Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths .. well I say next year, but really its just over a week. :( I can't believe the summer's over already ... 2 months of freedom and now we're back to school. *sigh* Ah well. As long as we have as much fun in the next two years as we have in the past five years, we're gna have a really brilliant time :P. Unfortunately a few of my friends aren't staying on :tears: ~Lag-Greberksky and ~xxtalixx
